This is for Cissie’s Hunger Games AU! In this AU, John is an Avox and Dave is the Gamemaker. If you don’t follow HG, an Avox is a person who has been punished for rebelling and had their tongues sliced off so they can no longer speak… Think of a mute!John.

I couldn’t resist drawing them after she told me that the only way John ‘talks’ to Dave now is by tracing words onto his hand… I FOUND IT REALLY ENDEARING. Stitched version.
